New Orleans artist Ron Ruiz with one of his latest acrylic paintings, Night Dreams, from his Color Fields series. A noted collector of 19th and 20th century paintings from the American south, Ron studied art at Tulane University and with the great WPA easel painter and muralist John McCrady. Ron will exhibit his paintings beginning July 1 at Jean Bragg Gallery of Southern Art www.jeanbragg.com, located at 600 Julia Street in the heart of the New Orleans Arts District.

Ron Ruiz shows his paintings at Jean Bragg's new art gallery in the American Sector of New Orleans. This important and beautifully appointed gallery, dedicated to the exhibition of Southern art, antique and modern, is located in the first of the Julia Street Row Houses known as The Thirteen Sisters, corner of Camp and Julia streets.

The Miami Beach Convention center hosted 125 prestigious galleries from Europe, South America, and the United States at Art Miami 2005. Eight thousand collectors and the beautiful people turned out on opening night.

More than 5,000 paintings, photographs, and sculptures were for sale at Art Miami 2005. Ron Ruiz was the only artist from Louisiana.

Paintings shipped are considered to be on approval for a period of ten days. Notice of return must be given within those ten days unless specific arrangements are made with Ron Ruiz.
